    With plumbing and drainage cover in place, you can have peace of mind knowing that you will be able to save yourself from potentially costly repair bills if something goes wrong with your plumbing or drainage systems.

• Why do I need plumbing and drainage insurance?

  • Our plumbing and drainage insurance acts as a safety net for when things like leaks, blockages, or burst pipes catch you off guard.

    Instead of worrying about finding help or paying for potentially pricey repairs, you can relax knowing you're covered. Whether it's a small issue like a clogged drain or something bigger, our insurance makes sure you have professional help ready when you need it.

• What do I need to know about the current offer?

  • Plumbing and Drainage Plus is currently available at 50p a month (£6 a year) for the first year only.

    Plumbing and Electrics is currently available at £3.50 a month (£42 a year) for the first year only.

    These offers end on 9 April 2025 and are for new customers and homeowners only.

    Once the offer expires, Plumbing and Drainage Plus will revert to £1 a month for the first year. Plumbing and Electrics will revert to £4 a month for the first year. Terms and conditions and exclusions apply.

• Who can buy this insurance?

  • These plumbing and drainage insurance products are for homeowners who live in houses, bungalows or flats.

    However, we also offer a range of cover options for landlords.

• What does my plumbing and drainage insurance include?

  • Our plumbing and drainage insurance includes cover for a wide range of problems including burst pipes, blocked drains, trouble with toilets, and water supply pipe leaks.

    Some of our insurance products offer additional cover for problems with your central heating system, plus insurance for your home’s electrics and cover against pest infestations - so you can choose the one that suits you best.

    Some insurance options come with a FREE boiler service in the first year.

• What happens if I discover a plumbing and drainage problem?

  • Leaks and blockages are impossible to predict. Thankfully, we’re not!

    With cover from HomeServe, you’ll be able to make an insurance claim at any time of the day or night, 365 days a year - so no matter when a plumbing and drainage problem crops up, you can rely on us to help tackle it.

    We always aim to fix whatever’s gone wrong the first time we come out to you, and we offer a 12-month guarantee on most repairs excluding drainage.

• FREE boiler service Terms and Conditions

  • For policies that include a boiler service, the price of the service is shown as FREE when compared to the equivalent cover without service.

    The boiler service is FREE in the first year only. Upon renewal, this is chargeable and will be included as standard in the cost of the policy.

    • The offer of a FREE Gas boiler service is only available on certain highlighted products on our website
    • Only one offer per household
    • If you cancel your cover within the first 28 days you will not receive the boiler service
    • No cash alternatives will be offered
